Samenvatting

Is it possible to be religiously exclusive and socially inclusive at the same time? And if so, then how? And should inclusion always be the highest goal or are there situations and circumstances that demand exclusvity? This contribution focuses not on a simple dogmatic solution, but on describing the perimeters of a field in which we can find a way in different situations. The idea of 'the between', the (virtual) space that Buber describes as the location of dialogue between human beings, is developed in a more trinitarian theological direction.
