Abstract
Computational sermon analysis (CSA) locates sermon analysis within a wider family of digital research methods. In digital humanities, these methods have different names, such as ‘text mining’1, ‘corpus linguistics’2 or ‘natural language processing’3. These methods have their origins in various disciplinary traditions, but they all point to the interaction of the study of human discourse and computer science. Increasingly, computational methods are being used to study sermons.
