We are the OJKC, Research Centre for Youth, Church and Culture.

We want to help professionals in church, school and society with their work concerning faith education of young people.

We do this by increasing knowledge about youth and faith through scientific research and by connecting research to practice.

We invest in research on childhood and adolescence because we know that these are the formative years of our lives. In a time and culture in which faith formation is under pressure and believing is no longer self-evident (especially for young people), it is necessary to understand what are crucial factors in the faith formation of young people. Therefore, we conduct practical theological research to help shape a new generation of believers.
